So it Begins...

One week from today, my best friend turned into a missionary. I can still remember the first day of class Sophomore year, when we were each asked to say one person in the class we wanted to get to know better... I knew absolutely no one in the class, at least I thought. Until a boy in the back of the room was asked, and he said, "McKenzie John." It's pretty obvious to say that that one day change my life in a huge way. I'm so grateful that boy had the nerve to say my name that day because it has led me to where I am today. The happiest girl in the world. In case you don't know, that boy was Patrick Flood, and has been my best friend ever since. He and I have just begun one of the biggest adventures of our lives so far, and we're going to finish out strong. I'm so blessed to have his influence in my life. It's crazy the impact a boy can have on a girl. Whether you think so or not, I'm sure some guy has left an impact on you. I am ready to cheer him on from home and be the best support I can. I wouldn't want him anywhere else, that's for sure.

-I started this blog to help me be able to look back and see all the wonderful things that are happening in life. There's so much going on and I don't want to forget any of it. I'm excited to get started, this should be fun:)
